75th Anniversary of VE Day – Medway Labour & Co- operative Councillors Say ‘Thank You’

Out of the ashes of the Second World War, we built a better Britain. To those who sacrificed then. To those making sacrifices today. Thank you.

As we wait for Her Majesty the Queen to address the nation tonight as her father did on VE Day, we reflect on the legacy of her generation – and the peace they built.
