Public events will be held tomorrow in Chatham in order to consult with the public over the future of the old Go Outdoors and Market Hall site in Chatham.

The events will be organised by Arches Local, who use National Lottery Funding to make a massive and lasting positive difference in the Central, River and Luton areas of Chatham. Arches are not connected to the local government and seek to put more power in the hands of residents. You can read more about Arches Local HERE.

Cllr Simon Curry, Medway Labour and Co-operative Group Spokesperson for Regeneration, Culture and the Environment said: “If they can, I urge Chatham residents to participate in these workshops tomorrow. We strongly support local residents having a say over the future of their local area, and hope the outcome of these workshops will be a clear consensus and vision for the future of this site.”

Free tickets for the event can be obtained HERE.
