Cllr Simon Curry (Luton and Wayfield)
Councillor Simon Curry
Simon has lived and worked in Medway since the late 1980s. His wife, Ruth, has been a commuter for over 25 years and their three children all went to local schools.
As a council officer Simon was responsible for the development of the country park at Capstone as well as many other greenspaces across Medway.
Simon has worked locally with the homeless, the elderly and young people and was a governor at one of our local secondary schools. Simon now shares his time between family, work as a consultant specialising in new country parks and nature reserves, and voluntary time, primarily as the Chair of the Medway Urban Greenspaces Forum.
Simon is a member of Regeneration, Culture, and Environment Overview and Scrutiny Committee, and Planning Committee on Medway Council.
