The Medway Labour and Co-operative Group have paid tribute to the staff who worked through the night and the morning to make Medway a safe as place as possible.

Cllr Simon Curry, Medway Labour and Co-operative Group Spokesperson for Regeneration, Culture and the Environment said: “After the record temperatures we experienced in the summer, Medway is now enduring a period of unusually cold weather, which presents its own dangers to our residents. We want to thank the staff who worked tirelessly, to help all our residents through the night and in to the morning making our roads and streets safe for public use.”
